मजबूती पर बंद बाजार, सेंसेक्स-निफ्टी 0.5% चढ़े
आरबीआई से निराशा हाथ लगने के बाद ईसीबी और अमेरिकी फेडरल रिजर्व से राहत मिलने की उम्मीद से बाजार में मजबूती आई। सेंसेक्स 92 अंक चढ़कर 17236 और निफ्टी 29 अंक चढ़कर 5229 पर बंद हुए। मिडकैप शेयर 0.6 फीसदी चढ़े।
मिले-जुले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संकेतों के बावजूद बाजारों ने 0.25 फीसदी की मजबूती के साथ शुरुआत की। निफ्टी 5200 के स्तर के ऊपर खुला। सेंसेक्स करीब 50 अंक की तेजी के साथ कारोबार करता दिखा।
Indian shares bounced back in afternoon trade led by oil & gas, technology, FMCG and HDFC group stocks. However, the selling in Bharti, SBI and ICICI Bank has limited the upside.
Country's largest software services exporters TCS and Infosys moved up 0.7% while their rival Wipro rallied 1.8%.
Top commercial vehicle maker Tata Motors rebounded with 2% gains and top car maker Maruti Suzuki gained 1%.
Oil & gas producers Reliance Industries and ONGC moved up 0.7% and 1.3%, respectively. Cigarette major ITC and engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro were up 0.4% each.
Housing finance company HDFC surged 1.7% whereas private sector lender ICICI Bank was down 1.3%.
Country's largest lender State Bank of India, top telecom operator Bharti Airtel and steel & power producer JSPL tanked 2% each.

Essar Oil leads gainers in 'A' group
Manappuram Finance, Muthoot Finance, United Spirits and TTK Prestige are among the other gainers.
Essar Oil galloped 10.21% to Rs 55.60 and topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock extended Monday's 4.78% gain
Manappuram Finance jumped 9.24% to Rs 33.70 ahead of its Q1 June 2012 results tomorrow, 1 August 2012. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Muthoot Finance surged 5.3% to Rs 133 and was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
United Spirits gained 4.96% to Rs 809.30 and was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
TTK Prestige advanced 4.77% to Rs 3565.65 and was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Volumes jump at Ruchi Soya Industries counter
Infotech Enterprises, Tata Chemicals, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, and Grasim Industries are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE, 31 July 2012.
Ruchi Soya Industries clocked volume of 6.11 lakh shares on BSE, a 32.48-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 19,000 shares. The stock closed at Rs 84.90.
Infotech Enterprises notched up volume of 5.19 lakh shares, a 21.26-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock rose 2.75% to Rs 177.15.
Tata Chemicals clocked volume of 4.06 lakh shares, a 15.3-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 23,000 shares. The stock fell 1.32% to Rs 306.1
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services clocked volume of 81149 shares, a 12.45-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock rose 2.19% to Rs 707.70.
Grasim Industries notched up volume of 40303 shares, a 4.9-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock rose 3.44% to Rs 2,870.95.
