सुस्ती पर बंद बाजार, छोटे-मझौले गिरे
आखिरी घंटे में आई मुनाफावसूली ने बाजार की 2 दिन की मजबूती पर ब्रेक लगा दिया। सेंसेक्स 0.5 अंक चढ़कर 17602 और निफ्टी 1 अंक चढ़कर 5338 पर बंद हुए। मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयर 0.2-0.4 फीसदी गिरे।
मजबूत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संकेतों के दम पर बाजारों ने अच्छी शुरुआत की। शुरुआती कारोबार में निफ्टी 5350 के ऊपर पहुंच गया, जो 4 महीनों का उच्चतम स्तर है। हालांकि, भारती एयरटेल में आई गिरावट ने बाजार की तेजी पर लगाम लगाए रखी।
बाजार में तेजी ज्यादा देर तक नहीं टिक पाई। रियल्टी और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर शेयरों में बिकवाली बढ़ने की वजह से बाजारों ने शुरुआती मजबूती गंवाई। वेरिटास की रिपोर्ट के बाद इंडियाबुल्स ग्रुप की कंपनियों के शेयरों में भारी गिरावट आई।
Sensex trims gains; Bharti drops 6% post mgmt warning
Indian shares continued to trade higher with marginal gains due to support from Reliance Industries and Infosys. But a 6% fall in Bharti Airtel has capped the upside. In a conference call after disappointing performance in Q1 results, the company sees possibility of further EBITDA margin dilution.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals rose to Rs 71.55 on BSE after net profit rose 20.99% to Rs 77.06 crore on 16.85% growth in total income to Rs 1381.91 crore in Q1 June 2012 over Q1 June 2011.
GVK Power & Infrastructure fell at Rs 12.83 on BSE after the company reported a net loss of Rs 64.30 crore in Q1 June 2012 compared with a net profit of Rs 58.92 crore in Q1 June 2011.
Mahindra & Mahindra jumped to Rs 722.75 on BSE as the combined net profit of the firm and its 100% subsidiary jumped 25.9% to Rs 778.50 crore on 35.2% growth in gross revenue to Rs 10003.90 crore in Q1 June 2012 over Q1 June 2011.
Eight realty shares fell by 0.03% to 2.69% at 14:00 IST on BSE on profit booking after recent gains.
Indiabulls Real Estate (down 2.69%), Sobha Developers (down 2.06%), Unitech (down 1.61%), HDIL (down 1.26%), DLF (down 1.06%), Parsvnath Developers (down 0.27%), Phoenix Mills (down 0.16%) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.03%), edged lower.

Volumes jump at VST Industries counter
Indiabulls Financial Services, Indiabulls Real Estate, Standard Chartered PLC, and State Trading Corporation of India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE, 8 August 2012.
VST Industries clocked volume of 45,372 shares on  BSE, a 72.33-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 0.78% to Rs 1,743.60.
Indiabulls Financial Services notched up volume of 43.10 lakh shares, a 28.04-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.22 lakh shares. The stock tumbled to Rs 209.85.
Indiabulls Real Estate clocked volume of 1.15 Cr shares, a 17.25-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.29 lakh shares. The stock lost to Rs 54.40
Standard Chartered PLC clocked volume of 27.33 lakh shares, a 15.98-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.16 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.25% to Rs 85.85.
State Trading Corporation of India notched up volume of 13.13 lakh shares, a 10.28-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 48,000 shares. The stock surged to Rs 289.15.
