बाजार 0.5% चढ़कर बंद, 5400 के करीब निफ्टी
कमजोर विदेशी संकेतों के बावजूद आईटी, बैंक और रियल्टी शेयरों की तेजी ने बाजारों में जोश भरा। सेंसेक्स 92 अंक चढ़कर 17859 और निफ्टी 28 अंक चढ़कर 5391 पर बंद हुए।
दिग्गजों के साथ-साथ छोटे और मझौले शेयरों में भी तेजी का रुझान नजर आया। निफ्टी मिडकैप इंडेक्स और बीएसई स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स करीब 0.5 फीसदी चढ़े।
Volatile Nifty extends gains; Siemens, BPCL, HDFC up 2-3%
The 50-share NSE Nifty extended gains amid volatile trade, even after the fall in European markets on profit booking. The index rose 17.5 points to 5,380.90, supported by banking & financial, technology and public sector undertaking stocks.

Pidilite Industries slides after 4-day 7.1% rally, Pidilite Industries fell 2.94% to Rs 202.80 on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit taking after 4-day 7.12% rally.
Panacea Biotec hits roof after strategic alliance with Osmotica, Panacea Biotec hit an upper circuit limit of 20% at Rs 107.25 on BSE after the company entered into strategic alliance with Osmotica Pharmaceutical.
The Phoenix Mills builds on good bookings for its residential project, The Phoenix Mills rose 0.46% to Rs 176.25 on BSE after the firm said it has booked sales worth over Rs 530 crore till date, post launch of Phase I of the firm's largest residential project on 7 September 2012, at Rajajinagar in Bangalore.
Lupin drops on profit taking, Lupin lost 1.64% to Rs 616.35 on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit booking after 4-day 6.91% rally.
PSU OMCs gain on hopes of fuel price hike, Shares of three public sector oil marketing companies rose after Oil Minister Jaipal Reddy told the media that fuel price hike is unavoidable in the short term. HPCL (up 2.86%), BPCL (up 1.81%) and Indian Oil Corporation (up 0.96%), edged higher.

Amrutanjan Health Care, Fulford (India), Arss Infrastructure Projects, and Polaris Financial Technology are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE, 11 September 2012.
Amrutanjan Health Care notched up volume of 99,252 shares, a 22.20-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock surged 5.11% to Rs 804.90.
Fulford (India) clocked volume of 1.73 lakh shares, a 12.95-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 12,000 shares. The stock rose 3.95% to Rs 952.85.
Arss Infrastructure Projects clocked volume of 16.61 lakh shares, a 8.81-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.45 lakh shares. The stock jumped 5.97% to Rs 47.05.
Polaris Financial Technology clocked volume of 6.09 lakh shares, a 6.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 62,000 shares. The stock jumped 7.52% to Rs 137.90.
