Indian shares trimmed gains in late trade to close on a flat note as investors awaited more details of a new bond buying program from the European Central Bank (ECB).
मामूली बढ़त पर बंद बाजार; आईटी शेयर चढ़े
दोपहर के कारोबारी सत्र से भारतीय बाजारों में लौटी तेजी अंत तक बरकरार रही। दोपहर के कारोबारी सत्र में निफ्टी ने 5,250 का स्तर पार करने में भी कामयाबी पाई थी। दरअसल शेयर बाजार गिरने को तैयार नहीं है। सिर्फ एक अच्छी खबर की आस भर बाजार को संभाल लेती है। यूरोपियन सेंट्रल बैंक आज यूरोप के कमजोर देशों को कुछ मदद देगा। इसी उम्मीद ने भारतीय शेयर बाजार को उठा लिया।
दिग्गजों से ज्यादा मझौले शेयर ऊपर चढ़े हैं। आज सेंसेक्स-निफ्टी में करीब 0.25 फीसदी की तेजी रही, जबकि मिडकैप में इससे कहीं ज्यादा तेजी देखने को मिली। बाजार में आज चढ़ने वाले शेयर भी ज्यादा थे।
उतार-चढ़ाव भरे कारोबारी सत्र में आखिरकार बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स सेंसेक्स 41 अंक यानि 0.25 फीसदी की बढ़त के साथ 17,354.50 पर बंद हुआ। वहीं एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स निफ्टी 14 अंक यानि 0.25 फीसदी की उछाल के साथ 5.240 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ।

Titagarh Wagons slides ex-dividend, Titagarh Wagons fell 2.60% to Rs 291.75 on BSE, as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 6 September 2012, for dividend of Rs 8 per share for the year ended 31 March 2012.
Torrent Power spurts 22% in three days, Torrent Power rose 9.86% at Rs 179.95 on BSE, extending recent gains triggered by promoter raising stake in the company through bulk deal on Tuesday, 4 September 2012.
MTNL firms up on cost reduction measures, MTNL rose 2.92% at Rs 38.75 on BSE after the company said it plans to de-list shares from Delhi, Calcutta and Madras stock exchanges as part of cost reduction measures.
JSW Steel gains after reporting higher production in August, JSW Steel rose 0.75% to Rs 659.10 on BSE after the company said its crude steel production jumped 15% to 7.63 lakh tones in August 2012 over August 2011.

Volumes jump at Jagran Prakashan counter
Den Networks, West Coast Paper Mills, OnMobile Global, and Bharat Heavy Electricals are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE, 6 September 2012.
Jagran Prakashan clocked volume of 10.14 lakh shares on BSE, a 45.37-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock rose 0.39% to Rs 90.60 after a block deal of 9.99 lakh shares was executed at Rs 90.25 per share at 9:39 IST on BSE. The block deal constituted 0.31% of the company's equity.
Den Networks notched up volume of 13.23 lakh shares, a 11.85-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 66,000 shares. The stock rose 6.13% to Rs 136.75.
West Coast Paper Mills clocked volume of 61.91 lakh shares, a 11.31-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.26 lakh shares. The stock fell 8.53% to Rs 64.85.
OnMobile Global clocked volume of 25.19 lakh shares, a 2.49-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6.63 lakh shares. The stock jumped 9.68% to Rs 37.95.
Bharat Heavy Electricals (Bhel) clocked volume of 13.21 lakh shares, a 2.31-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.50 lakh shares. The stock lost 3.20% to Rs 201.35, a sTock turned ex-dividend today, 6 September 2012, for final dividend of Rs 3.68 per share for the year ended 31 March 2012.
