Sensex, Nifty will struggle to sustain gains in week ahead
Indian equities may struggle to sustain the gains of the last two sessions, as macro concerns could prompt investors to book profits at higher levels instead of buying more. Late Thursday, the European Central Bank approved an ‘unlimited’ bond-purchase programme to lower the borrowing costs of trouble Eurozone member countries.
मजबूती पर बंद बाजार, 5350 के ऊपर निफ्टी
स्पेशल ट्रेडिंग सेशन में बाजार में करीब 0.5 फीसदी की मजबूती नजर आई। सेंसेक्स 66 अंक चढ़कर 17750 और निफ्टी 17 अंक चढ़कर 5359 पर बंद हुए। मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयर 0.5-0.7 फीसदी मजबूत हुए।
हेल्थकेयर शेयर 1.5 फीसदी उछले। मेटल, कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स, ऑयल एंड गैस, ऑटो, एफएमसीजी शेयर 1.2-0.5 फीसदी चढ़े। रियल्टी, बैंक, आईटी, पीएसयू, तकनीकी, कैपिटल गुड्स शेयर 0.4-0.15 फीसदी मजबूत हुए। पावर शेयर 0.2 फीसदी गिरे।

Aurobindo Pharma jumps 7.1% in 2 days, with the stock extending Friday's 3.22% gain triggered by the firm securing final approval from the USFDA to manufacture & market Amlodipine Besylate and Benazepril Hydrochloride Capsules.
ONGC inches up as overseas unit buys stake in ACG oil fields, After Hess Corporation on Friday said it has agreed to sell its 2.72% interest in the Azeri, Chirag and Guneshli fields in Azerbaijan and its 2.36% interest in the associated BTC pipeline to ONGC Videsh.
Metal shares track strength in industrial metal prices
Ten metal shares rose by 0.27% to 1.18%  on BSE as LMEX, a gauge of six metals traded on the London Metal Exchange, jumped 3.01% on 7 September 2012.
NMDC (up 1.18%), Sterlite Industries (up 1.14%), Sesa Goa (up 0.9%), Bhushan Steel (up 0.69%), JSW Steel (up 0.65%), Jindal Steel & Power (up 0.63%), Sail (up 0.52%), Tata Steel (up 0.42%), Hindalco Industries (up 0.33%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 0.27%), edged higher.
Nalco gains as government plans to divest 12.15% stake
National Aluminium Company advanced  on BSE as the Finance Ministry has issued an advertisement for appointing merchant bankers for divestment of 12.15% government stake in the company.
