Nalco leads gainers in 'A' group, Pidilite Industries, Indiabulls Financial Services, Bayer CropScience and DLF are among the other gainers.
State-run aluminium maker National Aluminium Company (Nalco) spurted 8.12% to Rs 50.60 after net profit surged 132.21% to Rs 118.94 crore on 16.79% increase in net sales to Rs 1670.06 crore in Q3 December 2012 over Q3 December 2011. The result was announced during trading hours today, 30 January 2013. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
Adhesives maker Pidilite Industries jumped 5.80% to Rs 228.10 after consolidated net profit jumped 51.3% to Rs 118.99 crore on 20.7% growth in net sales to Rs 927 crore in Q3 December 2012 over Q3 December 2011. The company announced Q3 results after market hours on Tuesday, 29 January 2013. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. It hit a record high of Rs 240 in intraday today, 30 January 2013.
Indiabulls Financial Services galloped 4.01% to Rs 332.05. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Farm chemical maker Bayer CropScience rose 3.70% to Rs 1228.95. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce Q3 results tommorow, 31 January 2013.
Real estate major DLF rose 3.49% to Rs 272.70. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 274.80 in intraday today, 30 January 2013.

KEC International notched up volume of 10.30 lakh shares by 13:16 IST on BSE, a 47.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 22,000 shares. The stock lost 1.78% to Rs 60.85.
GlaxoSmithkline Pharmaceuticals saw volume of 24,000 shares, a 8.55-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 0.25% to Rs 2,060.05.
Pidilite Industries clocked volume of 9.96 lakh shares, a 8.41-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.18 lakh shares. The stock jumped 6.47% at Rs 229.55 after consolidated net profit jumped 51.3% to Rs 118.99 crore on 20.7% growth in net sales to Rs 927 crore in Q3 December 2012 over Q3 December 2011. The company announced Q3 results after market hours on Tuesday, 29 January 2013.
Crompton Greaves clocked volume of 30.09 lakh shares, a 5.07-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5.94 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.74% at Rs 107.80 after the company reported consolidated net loss of Rs 189.36 crore in Q3 December 2012, as against net profit of Rs 77.14 crore in Q3 December 2011.
