Indian stocks snapped four-day losing streak today, 22 August 2013. The Sensex had lost 1,461.68 points or 7.55% in four trading sessions to 17,905.91 on Wednesday, 21 August 2013, from a recent high of 19,367.59 on 14 August 2013. The Sensex has fallen 1,032.76 points or 5.34% in this month so far (till 22 August 2013). The Sensex has declined 1,113.77 points or 5.73% in calendar 2013 so far (till 22 August 2013). From a 52-week high of 20,443.62 on 20 May 2013, the Sensex has fallen 2,130.68 points or 10.42%. From a 52-week low of 17,250.80 on 5 September 2012, the Sensex has surged 1,062.14 points or 6.16%.
