Cairn India :

Cairn can be attributed to the ongoing deal because ONGC will be giving the clearance on September 27 and this indicates a positive for the stock. It expect the price to move to about Rs 325 to Rs 330, once the entire formalities gets competed which is likely to happen by month end or the first week of October.

Titan Ind :

The long term view is definitely positive. The management has said that they will be increasing the prices. However, with the kind of run up seen in the prices of the gold and diamond, the company had to pass the price. Q2 and Q3 results are always the best results of the company. Taking all this into consideration, on a net basis, I do not think that any damage is likely to happen. It is an excellent move initiated by the company to aim the rural market because probably the urban market may be headed to saturation. Hence, technically, the stock has potential to move to about Rs 265 in the October series.

Reliance Communication:

The tower sale is seeing interest by the private equity investor. However, the entire concern is on the valuations because the mandate has been given by the management or the promoter to UBS is to hunt for 95% of their stake at 5 billion dollar.
Probably an offer of 4 billion dollar for entire 100% has been given and in the process of due diligence and bargaining I do not know to what value will be arrived at but it is certain that it is not likely to be 4.5 billion dollar for 95% of stake, which has seen a huge erosion in the value.
Last June, about 15 months back the same promoters and the same company had contacted GTL Infra to sell these same towers for over 10 billion dollar. This is likely to happen maybe in the next month or so but I do not think that market will really be satisfied with the kind of valuations been given to the tower assets of about 50,000 towers held by the company. To an extent this sale can reduce the debt of the company, which is to the extent of about Rs 32,000 crore. The management has clearly hinted that entire proceeds will be used for liquidation of the debt and even if they get about Rs 18,000 to 20,000 crore that will now reduce their debt considerably and that is the reason probably the positive move is seen in Reliance Communication.
