Despite the poor start we had to the day, Indian equities recovered towards the end of trade on the back of short covering before the expiry of the November series. A positive Europe opening also helped us bounce back above the 4700 mark on theNifty, to close with gains of over 1%. The Sensexrose over 150 points to close at 15,848.49 and the Nifty gained 50 points to close at 4756.45.

The question on everyone’s mind now is which direction the market will go moving into the last month of the calendar year. Due to the gloomy scenario world over, experts do not have a positive outlook.
