Nifty ends below 5500: What is the outlook now ?

The Indian market ended February series on a weak note. The Nifty swung as a pendulum between negative and positive territories before closing with a 20-point cut

Today was a tough session that saw the Nifty lose its stronghold over the 5,500 mark. The NSE benchmark lost 22 points or 0.4% to end at 5,483. The Sensex too closed in the red at 18,078.5, down 66 points or 0.37%.

Generally, the last day of any series is volatile for the market. So, experts are not surprised.

Solar Industries India clocked volume of 1.05 lakh shares by 13:12 IST on BSE, a 22.33-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock fell 0.68% to Rs 845.50 !

Gruh Finance notched up volume of 1.07 lakh shares, a 10.29-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock surged 4.30% to 689.05 !
