Muthoot Finance clocked volume of 20 lakh shares on BSE, a 26.72-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 64,000 shares. The stock tumbled 8.89% to Rs 146.65 after the central bank tightened gold loan norms for non-banking financial companies, citing the rapid growth of the business and rising risks !

Sarda Energy & Minerals notched up volume of 5.20 lakh shares, a 23.64-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 17,000 shares. The stock jumped 4.42% to Rs 141.65 !
