Rupee slump deepens India private equity quagmire
मामूली बढ़त पर बंद बाजार; निफ्टी 5100 के ऊपर टिका
वित्त मंत्री प्रणव मुखर्जी की विदाई के दिन आज शेयर बाजार दम साधे खड़ा रहा। बाजार में आज एक बेहद संकरे दायरे में कारोबार हुआ। निफ्टी 5,100 के पार बना रहा और सेंसेक्स भी लाल-हरे निशान में झूलता रहा। मिडैकप शेयर ही आज ऐसे रहे जिनमें दमखम दिख रहा था। मिडकैप इंडेक्स आज 0.5 फीसदी चढ़ा है।
बाजार में आज चढ़ने वाले और गिरने वाले शेयरों के बीच भी रस्साकशी चलती रही। वैसे आज बाजार का अपनी जगह पर खड़े रहना भी काबिले तारीफ है क्योंकि विदेशी बाजारों में गिरावट, रुपये की कमजोरी और खराब मॉनसून की खबर के बावजूद बाजार टिका रहा।

Manappuram Finance leads gainers in 'A' group
Muthoot Finance, Tata Global Beverages, Marico and United Phosphorus are among the other gainers.
Non-banking financial services company Manappuram Finance galloped 11.23% to Rs 30.20 after latest disclosure by the company showed that private equity firm Baring India raised stake in the company. The announcement was made after market hours on Monday, 25 June 2012. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
Baring India acquired 80.50 lakh shares, or 0.94% stake in the company on 22 June 2012. With this, Baring India now holds five crore shares, or 5.94% stake in Manappuram Finance.
Gold financing company Muthoot Finance jumped 10.74% to Rs 140.25. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Branded packaged tea maker Tata Global Beverages rose 5.36% to Rs 115.05 on report Tata Starbucks, a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and StarbucksCoffee Company, plans to open around 40 stores by December 2012, half of those in hotels and the rest in high-street malls. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
According to report, Tata Starbucks has so far lined up 14 properties in malls and high streets in the New Delhi capital region, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai and will make its India debut in September or October from the commercial capital, Mumbai.
FMCG company Marico rose 4.51% to Rs 179.75. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Agrochemicals maker United Phosphorus rose 3.73% to Rs 118.25. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Volumes jump at Gruh Finance counter
Max India, Supreme Industries, ABG Shipyard and Gateway Distriparks are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE on, 26 June 2012.
Gruh Finance clocked volume of 1.17 lakh shares by 13:14 IST on BSE, a 62.08-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 2.08% to Rs 692.
Max India notched up volume of 5.27 lakh shares, a 36.23-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 15,000 shares. The stock lost 0.41% to Rs 192.
Supreme Industries clocked volume of 5.04 lakh shares, a 31.08-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock rose 0.58% to Rs 234.85.
ABG Shipyard clocked volume of 5.17 lakh shares, a 25.49-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock rose 0.04% to Rs 374.05.
Gateway Distriparks notched up volume of 9.66 lakh shares, a 24.94-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 39,000 shares. The stock fell 2.83% to Rs 127.
