बाजार 0.25% चढ़े, निफ्टी 5300 के ऊपर बंद
भारी उतार-चढ़ाव भरे कारोबार के बाद बाजार मजबूती बनाए रखने में कामयाब रहे। निफ्टी 5300 के स्तर पर बना रहा। सेंसेक्स 37 अंक चढ़कर 17463 और निफ्टी 15 अंक चढ़कर 5302 पर बंद हुए।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजारों से मिले मजबूती के संकेतों की वजह से घरेलू बाजारों ने तेजी के साथ शुरुआत की। निफ्टी 5300 के ऊपर खुला। हालांकि, शुरुआती कारोबार में ही बाजार पर बिकवाली का दबाव बनता नजर आया।
Indian equity benchmarks were complete lacklustre in trade today as banks, metals, auto and telecom stocks were supporting the market whereas oil & gas, FMCG and select technology stocks were under pressure.

Market Updates :
Voltas leads gainers in 'A' group
Dish TV India, Idea Cellular, Sterlite Industries (India) and JSW Steel are among the other gainers.
Voltas galloped 7.32% to Rs 115.15 and topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 19.56 lakh shares, sharply higher than an average daily volume of 3.10 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Dish TV India jumped 6.01% to Rs 68.80 and was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock rose on volume of 10.99 lakh shares, higher than an average daily volume of 4.19 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Idea Cellular surged 5.62% to Rs 86.50 and was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock extended Tuesday's 5.41% gain, on reports these cellular services providers will continue to offer third-generation services on a pan-India basis.
Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and the local unit of UK's Vodafone Group PLC in July 2011 signed agreements to provide 3G roaming services.
TDSAT is a quasi-judicial body which decides on disputes in the telecom and media sectors.

Hitachi Home and Life Solutions (India) gains in value and volume
Madras Cements, Jindal South West Holdings, Amrutanjan Health Care and Lupin are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 4 July 2012.
Hitachi Home and Life Solutions (India) clocked volume of 5.56 lakh shares by 13:11 IST on BSE, a 56.23-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock jumped 15.24% to Rs 144.80.
Madras Cements notched up volume of 4.08 lakh shares, a 6.79-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 60,000 shares. The stock rose 0.8% to Rs 157.
Jindal South West Holdings clocked volume of 1.09 lakh shares, a 4.40-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 25,000 shares. The stock rose 1.25% to Rs 552.95.
Amrutanjan Health Care clocked volume of 78,000 shares, a 3.83-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock rose 2.33% to Rs 806.
Lupin notched up volume of 1.02 lakh shares, a 3.49-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock rose 0.39% to Rs 539.45
