| Drug maker Wockhardt rose 3.21% to Rs 1237.70 after the company announced during trading hours today, 14 August 2012, that it has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration for marketing 10 milligram extended release tablets of Alfuzosin hydrochloride in the US. | Alfuzosin hydrochloride is used in treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia or enlarged prostrate. Alfuzosin is the generic name for the brand Uroxatral, marketed in the US by Sanofi-Aventis.
