Sensex directionless; Pantaloon Retail zooms 52% in 2 weeks
Indian equity benchmarks were completely directionless ahead of expiry, hovering around their previous closing values. The upmove in ITC, L&T and SBI counterbalanced the weakness in oil & gas, technology and private banking stocks.
बाजार 0.25% कमजोर, छोटे-मझौले चढ़े
एक्सपायरी के दिन मुनाफावसूली की वजह से बाजार पर दबाव आया। सेंसेक्स 53 अंक गिरकर 18579 और निफ्टी 14 अंक गिरकर 5649 पर बंद हुए। हालांकि, छोटे और मझौले शेयरों में हल्की तेजी रही।
ऑयल एंड गैस, आईटी, तकनीकी शेयर 1.5-1 फीसदी लुढ़के। मेटल, पीएसयू, ऑटो और पावर शेयरों में 0.5-0.2 फीसदी की गिरावट आई।
एफएमसीजी, कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स, कैपिटल गुड्स शेयर 1.5-1 फीसदी चढ़े। रियल्टी और हेल्थकेयर शेयरों में 0.4-0.2 फीसदी की तेजी आई। बैंक शेयर सुस्त रहे।
Market Upates :
Fertiliser shares gain on favourable outlook for Rabi crop, Coromandel International (up 2.03%), Zuari Global (up 1.13%), National Fertilizers (up 4.49%), Chambal Fertiliser & Chemicals (up 4.81%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 7.10), Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation (up 0.07%) and GSFC (up 1.75%), edged higher. Seven fertiliser shares rose by 0.07% to 7.10%  on BSE on favourable outlook for Rabi or winter crop following wide-spread rains in August and September.
Stock With Volumes :
Volumes jump at Lakshmi Machine Works counter, IL&FS Transportation Networks, Amtek Auto, Supreme Industries and Tata Chemicals are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE, 27 September 2012.
Lakshmi Machine Works clocked volume of 51338 shares by 13:56 IST on BSE, a 17.92-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,803 lakh shares. The stock rose 2.68% to Rs 2,040.
IL&FS Transportation Networks notched up volume of 3.15 lakh shares, a 9.64-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 33,000 shares. The stock gained 3.63% to Rs 190.
Amtek Auto saw volume of 5.86 lakh shares, a 8.38-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 70,000 shares. The stock rose 2.61% to Rs 92.35
Supreme Industries clocked volume of 5.66 lakh shares, a 8.32-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 68,000 shares. The stock shed 0.28% to Rs 282
Tata Chemicals saw volume of 2.50 lakh shares, a 5.98-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 42,000 shares. The stock rose 0.82% to Rs 318.30
