Nifty hits 5600; revised provisioning norm hits PSU banks
Indian shares fell quite sharply with the NSE Nifty hitting the 5600 level - nearly a month low - due to weakness in banks, auto and real estate stocks.
सेंसेक्स 205 अंक टूटा, आरबीआई से निराशा
कर्ज जल्द सस्ता होने की उम्मीद खत्म होने से बाजार 1 फीसदी से ज्यादा टूटे। सेंसेक्स 205 अंक गिरकर 18431 और निफ्टी 68 अंक गिरकर 5598 पर बंद हुए। दिग्गजों के साथ-साथ छोटे और मझौले शेयरों की भी जमकर पिटाई हुई। निफ्टी मिडकैप इंडेक्स 1 फीसदी से ज्यादा लुढ़का। वहीं, बीएसई स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स में 1.25 फीसदी की गिरावट आई।
रिस्ट्रक्चर्ड लोन के लिए प्रोविजनिंग बढ़ने की वजह से बैंक निफ्टी करीब 2.5 फीसदी टूटा। रियल्टी, कैपिटल गुड्स, ऑटो जैसे बाकी रेट सेंसिटिव शेयरों में 2.25-1.5 फीसदी की गिरावट आई।
कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स, पीएसयू, मेटल, पावर, एफएमसीजी शेयर 2.25-0.5 फीसदी कमजोर हुए। हेल्थकेयर शेयर भी फिसले। हालांकि, रुपये के 54 के नीचे लुढ़कने से आईटी और तकनीरी शेयर 0.5 फीसदी चढ़े।

IT shares firm up on weak rupee, Infosys (up 1.09%), Wipro (up 0.81%), Tech Mahindra (up 0.45%), Oracle Financial Services Software (up 0.42%), Mahindra Satyam (up 0.37%) and TCS (up 0.27%), edged higher. Six IT shares rose by 0.27% to 1.09% at 15:07 IST on BSE after the rupee fell to a five-week low against the dollar today, 30 October 2012.
STOCK VOLUMES :
Volumes jump at KPIT Cummins Infosystems counter
Sadbhav Engineering, Gravita India, Orissa Minerals Development Company, and State Bank of India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 30 October 2012.
KPIT Cummins Infosystems clocked volume of 55.72 lakh shares by 13:12 IST on BSE, a 87.61-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 64,000 shares. The stock rose 0.83% to Rs 121.70.
Sadbhav Engineering notched up volume of 5.03 lakh shares, a 3.5-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.44 lakh shares. The stock fell 1.09% to Rs 144.65.
Gravita India notched up volume of 3.77 lakh shares, a 2.76-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.37 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.18% to Rs 165.80.
Orissa Minerals Development Company (OMDC) saw volume of 7,000 shares, a 2.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 1.14% to Rs 4,490.
State Bank of India (SBI) clocked volume of 7.55 lakh shares, a 1.86-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.05 lakh shares. The stock fell 3.66% to Rs 2,090.90.
