Market drifts lower on hawkish comments by RBI governor
The total turnover on the BSE amounted to Rs 2138 crore, lower than Rs 2510 crore on Friday, 8 February 2013.
The market breadth, indicating the overall health of the market, was negative. On BSE, 1,589 shares declined and 1,239 shares rose. A total of 127 shares were unchanged.

Stock With Volumes :
Volumes jump at Apollo Hospitals Enterprise counter, MMTC, State Trading Corporation of India, Jagran Prakashan, and Hindustan Copper are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 11 February 2013.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise clocked volume of 64.05 lakh shares by 13:21 IST on BSE, a 299.01-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock lost 0.33% at Rs 835.50.
MMTC notched up volume of 5.17 lakh shares, a 46.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock jumped 16.05% at Rs 594.65.
State Trading Corporation of India saw volume of 5.23 lakh shares, a 41.22-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock surged 14.61% at Rs 217.65.
Jagran Prakashan clocked volume of 8.01 lakh shares, a 30.76-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock lost 1.33% at Rs 103.75 after 0.25% equity changed hands in a bulk deal on the BSE today, 11 February 2013. A bulk deal of 8 lakh shares was executed on the Jagran Prakashan counter at Rs 104 per share at 09:44 IST on the BSE today, 11 February 2013.
Hindustan Copper saw volume of 13.31 lakh shares, a 19.67-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 69,000 shares. The stock surged 9.31% at Rs 135.60.
