Strong pullback: Is market's correction over for now ?

It's been a smart pullback on D-Street today after yesterday's sharp sell-off. Hopes ahead of the longer term refinancing operation (LTRO) announcement tomorrow lifted sentiment across the globe, and helped Indian market arrest their slide.

The Nifty pocketed 94 points to close well above the 5300 mark. The Sensex too followed suit with a huge 285 point gain shutting shop at 17731

Gujarat NRE Coke clocked volume of 62.85 lakh shares on BSE, a 4.83-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 12.03 lakh shares. The stock surged 7.85% to Rs 26.10 !

Time Technoplast notched up volume of 21.10 lakh shares, a 4.73-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.35 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.76% to Rs 49.70 !
