गिरावट पर बंद बाजार, 5200 के नीचे निफ्टी
इस हफ्ते लगातार दूसरे दिन बाजार पर मुनाफावसूली का दबाव दिखा। मजबूत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संकेत और रुपये में तेजी बाजार में जोश नहीं भर पाए। बढ़त पर शुरुआत करने के बाद बाजार तेजी कायम रखने में नाकामयाब रहे।
सेंसेक्स 2 अंक चढ़कर 17105 और निफ्टी 4 अंक गिरकर 5193 पर बंद हुए। मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयर करीब 1 फीसदी गिरे।
एशियाई बाजारों में मजबूती की वजह से घरेलू बाजार भी तेजी के साथ खुले। रुपये के 55 के ऊपर खुलने से भी बाजारों को सहारा मिला। शुरुआती कारोबार में सेंसेक्स 130 अंक से ज्यादा चढ़ा और निफ्टी 5225 के ऊपर चला गया।

Cadila Healthcare leads gainers in 'A' group
Wipro, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Marico and Tata Global Beverages are among the other gainers.
Pharmaceutical company Cadila Healthcare rose 4.74% to Rs 836.65 after the company said the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) has found the company's facilities at Moraiya acceptable. The US FDA had in June 2011 issued a warning letter to Cadila, citing non-conformity of the facilities with the US FDA norms. The company made this announcement during trading hours today, 17 July 2012. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
India's third largest IT company by sales Wipro rose 1.91% to Rs 362.35. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce Q1 results on 24 July 2012.
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals rose 1.88% to Rs 388.15. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
FMCG firm Marico rose 1.74% to Rs 184.10. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce Q1 results on 3 August 2012.
Branded packaged tea maker Tata Global Beverages rose 1.71% to Rs 116.30. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce Q1 results on 23 July 2012.

Volumes jump at Jindal Stainless counter
Bajaj Corp, Tata Coffee, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Timken India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 17 July 2012.
Jindal Stainless clocked volume of 9.20 lakh shares by 13:20 IST on BSE, a 8.7-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.06 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.34% to Rs 71.85.
Bajaj Corp notched up volume of 3.99 lakh shares, a 2.18-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.83 lakh shares. The stock rose 2.09% to Rs 129.60.
Tata Coffee clocked volume of 1.05 lakh shares, a 2.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 49,000 shares. The stock rose 1.76% to Rs 963.
Tata Coffee's consolidated net profit jumped 112.7% to Rs 28.18 crore on 23% growth in net sales to Rs 407.74 crore in Q1 June 2012 over Q1 June 2011. The company announced the results after market hours on Monday, 16 July 2012.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) clocked volume of 2.05 lakh shares, a 2.13-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 96,000 shares. The stock rose 0.07% to Rs 718.20.
Timken India notched up volume of 2.77 lakh shares, a 1.76-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.57 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.22% to Rs 229.35.
