Nifty holds 5700; Bharti, Hindalco top gainers
It's a strong day for the Indian equity market. The Nifty hits 5700 led by select rate sensitives and commodities. Broader markets too participate in the upmove. All BSE sectoral indices were trading in positive terrain.
सेंसेक्स 305 अंक चढ़ा, 5727 पर बंद निफ्टी
ग्रीस को राहत पैकेज मिलने और मूडीज के भारत की रेटिंग स्टेबल रखने से बाजार 1.5 फीसदी चढ़े। सेंसेक्स 305 अंक चढ़कर 18842 और निफ्टी 91 अंक चढ़कर 5727 पर बंद हुए।
छोटे और मझौले शेयरों में भी तेजी आई, लेकिन इनकी चमक दिग्गजों के सामने फीकी ही रही। निफ्टी मिडकैप इंडेक्स करीब 1.5 फीसदी और बीएसई स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स 1 फीसदी चढ़े।
रियल्टी और कंज्यूमर ड्यूरेबल्स शेयर 3.2 फीसदी उछले। एफएमसीजी, बैंक, तकनीकी, मेटल, आईटी, ऑयल एंड गैस, हेल्थकेयर, कैपिटल गुड्स और ऑटो शेयर 2-1 फीसदी चढ़े। पावर और सरकारी कंपनियों के शेयर 0.5-0.25 फीसदी तेज हुए।

Stock With Volumes :
Volumes jump at Federal Bank counter, Coromandel International, Videocon Industries, SKF India, and GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 27 November 2012.
Federal Bank notched up volume of 1.02 crore shares by 13:04 IST on BSE, a 1624.56-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock lost 0.73% to Rs 465.35 after the counter saw a series of block deals on BSE in early trade today, 27 November 2012.
According to reports, L&T Finance Holdings sold 79.90 lakh shares in Federal Bank in early trade today, 27 November 2012, at an average price of Rs 453.37 per share. As on 30 September 2012, L&T Finance Holdings held 79.95 lakh shares or 4.67% stake in Federal Bank.
Coromandel International saw volume of 12.63 lakh shares, a 454.91-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 1.89% to Rs 277.75.
Videocon Industries clocked volume of 3.52 lakh shares, a 56.26-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock surged 13.86% to Rs 193.05.
SKF India notched up volume of 1.71 lakh shares, a 56.08-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock rose 3.6% at Rs 630.75.
GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare saw volume of 33,000 shares, a 25.05-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 0.77% at Rs 3,680. The stock hit a record high of Rs 3,894.90 in the intraday trade today, 27 November 2012.
