Stock With Volumes :
Volumes jump at Indian Hume Pipe Company counter, IndusInd Bank, National Aluminium Company, Timken India, and BOC India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 15 March 2013.
Indian Hume Pipe Company clocked volume of 6.98 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 489.28-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 0.29% to Rs 105.30.
IndusInd Bank notched up volume of 50.79 lakh shares, a 38.89-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.31 lakh shares. The stock lost 1.73% at Rs 423.25 after 0.95% equity changed hands in a bulk deal on the BSE today, 15 March 2013. A bulk deal of 50 lakh shares was executed on the IndusInd Bank counter at Rs 435.90 per share at 09:45 IST on the BSE today, 15 March 2013.
National Aluminium Company saw volume of 24.14 lakh shares, a 21.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.14 lakh shares. The stock tumbled 8.59% to Rs 40.45.
Timken India clocked volume of 4.29 lakh shares, a 18.57-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 23,000 shares. The stock jumped 14.59% to Rs 151.15.
BOC India saw volume of 1.78 lakh shares, a 12.3-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock was locked at 20% upper circuit at Rs 303.10.
